There are a lot of awesome Shaders out there – Realistic, Cartoon and much more. Before downloading such community packs, make sure you have installed this Mod first.

Also don’t forget, that this mod will reduce your FPS rate significantly, if your graphics card or CPU is too powerless.

DESCRIPTION

In order to use the Minecraft Shaders 1.12, you have to install a Shader Pack of your choice first. For even better ingame graphics, check out some awesome Resource Packs. Our personal favorite is the Sphax BDCraft resource pack.

Another important thing is, that this version require the ASM Mod to work. Also it is neither compatible with Forge, nor Optifine. Don’t install any of these mods with the Minecraft Shaders 1.12, it will just crash your game.

INSTRUCTIONS

HOW TO INSTALL MINECRAFT SHADERS 1.12

Below you will download the finished .JAR Installer which needs to be executed.
Follow the steps below to install it properly.

Step 1 – Update Minecraft to your preferred version, if not done before

Step 2 – Download and execute the .JAR:

Step 3 – Follow the Instructions on the automated Installer for your Minecraft version

Step 4 – Download a Pack for Minecraft Shaders 1.12 and put it in the shaderpacks folder.

Step 5 – Select the newly created profile in the Minecraft launcher and start the game.
